Annual version upgrade

When a customer buys the system, he or she has to decide whether a subscription for upgrades is needed or whether the software should be upgraded by purchasing full licenses for new versions as needed.


A license for annual version upgrade may be purchased along with the software or at any time after the core software is bought, but in the last case its duration will be only 1 year from the activation date of the core software or from the expiration date of the previous license.

A license for annual version upgrade includes accessing the «Customer Personal Desktop» on the vendor's web site, containing all updates and extensions of the software functionality (including new versions), as well as tools for working with the technical support service. Technical support is provided for software installation and usage issues, not for issues related to software customization for customer tasks: this type of support is an additional service.

Comments:

1) A license is granted to a company's Internal User engaged in task processing. The number of External Users setting their tasks is not limited and not licensed.

2) The software license duration and software lifetime are not limited. License duration for version upgrade and annual support is 1 year from the time of purchase.

3) The software contains a server-side component and client applications. The product package includes all necessary software and documentation.

4) The software delivery cost does not cover the following activities (paid separately): installation, customization of the software interface according to customer requirements, customization of software functionality and operation for customer tasks, personnel training and instruction.

5) Annual support includes accessing the update server, with all new versions and any software functionality extensions in the new versions available to the customer. Purchasing licenses for annual support is optional; without these, new versions will not be available to the customer free of charge.

6) Within the specified cost, a software usage license applies only to hosting the program on a single web site and within a single legal entity. Hosting on multiple web sites or use across multiple legal entities requires a separate license (granted at discount price).

7) When the customer orders software design modification in accordance with their tasks, the work cost may be revised depending on the complexity of the customer’s requirements.

8) Software design modification, as well as any other software customization, may be performed by the customer's IT department in-house.
